Welcome
to the web home of
Friendship Lutheran Church. Feel free to explore the site to learn a
little bit about us.
Our
belief in the God who gives hope,
forgiveness, and everlasting life as gifts of grace is central to
everything we do and are at Friendship. In response to God's grace we
are committed to living as Disciples of Him by helping people
experience the new life God gives to all who entrust their lives to
Jesus Christ.

Lent
Worship
begins Wednesday
February 17th. Dinner will be provided beginning at 6:15 P.M. with
worship at 7 P.M. The Sermon
Series
for our Wednesday evening
services is: "The Fires of God."
As
we work toward
updating the Friendship Website, we will be utilizing our new
blog to provide
updates and information on a real-time basis. More importantly, our
hope is that our
new blog will become a gathering
place where interactive discussions can occur as well. Check
it out and let us
know what you think. If you have any suggestions regarding content and
what's important to you and your life, please email
them to us here.

A
magnitude 7.0
earthquake rocked the island country of Haiti on Tuesday, January 12.
Buildings are destroyed, the search for survivors is intense and the
streets of Haiti are filled with people in shock and searching for
loved ones among the rubble. ELCA Disaster Response partners have
survived the quake and are already working to serve the people of Haiti.
Your help is needed today to bring immediate relief and continued hope
for our brothers and sisters in Haiti. About 3 million people,
one-third of Haiti’s population, were affected by
this
earthquake.
The ELCA has established a secure
website to
accept donations for the Haiti relief effort.
